Soy norteño de nacimiento pero chilango por elección. Desde 2002 me dedico a la fotografía y a partir del 2008, vivo única y exclusivamente de este bello arte. He trabajado fotografía documental, retrato, social, publicitaria y comercial, lo cual me ha dado la experiencia que se requiere para trabajar en rodajes de grandes películas y series; un lugar donde debes tener la paciencia del documentalista, la imaginación del retratista y la habilidad del fotógrafo social. Trabajar en set haciendo foto fija suena fácil, pero desde el momento en que te das cuenta que la luz del cinematógrafo no es tu luz, buscas la manera de hacerla tuya y es ahí donde empieza la magia.

I am a northerner by birth but based in Mexico city. Since 2002 I have dedicated myself to photography and, since 2008 I have lived exclusively from this beautiful art. I have worked in documentary, portrait, social, advertising and commercial photography, which has given me the experience required to work on the shooting of major films and series; a place where you must have the patience of the documentary filmmaker, the imagination of the portrait photographer and the skill of the social photographer. Working on set taking still photos sounds easy, but from the moment you realize that the cinematography light is not your light, you look for a way to make it yours and that’s where the magic begins.
